EMS Technologies, Inc. announces another addition to the production floor. Mydata's latest surface mount placement machine, the MY200LX.
EMS first got into surface mount back in 1985 with Quad placement machines, but soon decided to migrate to the very accurate and durable Mydata machines. They comfortably place 0402 compnents, or 1,152 pin BGAs. In December of 2014 EMS acquired the latest MY200LX, which utilizes older version feeder interchangeability with the new feeders. It has incresed capacity and chip speed to 13,800 CPH net through put and Fine Pitch net throughput to 3,200 CPH.
